Ronnie Rivers Efficient In Preseason Finale
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers led the team in rushing during their Week 3 preseason loss to the Denver Broncos. The Fresno St. product was the most consistent running back for the Rams this preseason. Rivers ran for 32 yards on six carries in the four drives that he appeared in. The second-year player has shown to be the reliable runner that the team can use for depth purposes, as he more than likely won a roster spot over Royce Freeman. While he still is the No. 3 back at best behind Cam Akers and Kyren Williams, Rivers has earned more trust from the coaching staff with his play this preseason.
