1 year agoChicago Bears backup quarterback Tyler Bagent struggled in his final preseason audition, completing only 7-of-14 passes for 43 yards and one interception against the Bills. Bagent came into the game as one of the team's preseason darlings but struggled to move the chains in this preseason finale. The rookie is currently battling for a roster spot with veteran quarterback P.J. Walker. It is not a slam-dunk as to who the Bears will choose to back up starter Justin Fields in Week 1 and Bagent's roster status will be decided in the coming days.--Joey C - RotoBaller
