Many clubs have made big moves this offseason to help bolster their cup chances and chances of getting a European spot for next season. Will we see a new title winner this season or will Liverpool and Manchester City continue to battle it out for the top spot?
The top favorite this weekend is Arsenal -470 vs Fulham FC +1300. I will guide you through this four-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST.

EPL DFS Goalies
Goalies
Aaron Ramsdale - DK $5.9K || FD $13
Opponent - Fulham FC
Predicting the goalkeeper market on the slate is one of the hardest things so far this season. There are a few candidates and it will all come down to how much salary you have left and what sort of roster construction you are ideally aiming for. Nevertheless, the obvious choice is Arsenal keeper, Aaron Ramsdale. Fulham has been talked about numerous times already this season for their lack of effort and the abundance of offensive struggles. This will benefit Arsenal immensely coming into this match. Ramsdale in two matches now has 3 saves, 1 conceded goal and 1 clean sheet and he is expected to garner some of the highest ownership at any position this weekend.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Onana (DK $5.7K || FD $13), Sa (DK $4.5K || FD $10)
EPL DFS Forwards
Eddie Nketiah - DK $6.9K || FD $21
Opponent - Fulham FC
Nketiah is the way to get Arsenal ownership this weekend –at an efficient salary. However, it is worth mentioning that teammate Gabriel Jesus is fully fit and there could potentially be a striker swap prior to the match. Nevertheless, Fulham is struggling mightily to start the season, barely beating Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park and then getting walloped by Brentford at home 3-0 last weekend. With lesser competition giving them fits the big guns will prove a much bigger task than normal. Last season, Fulham had a bottom-ten defense in all meaningful metrics and most notably, they were the third-worst in Big Chances Created Against Per 90 – 2.03 –. As many know, Arsenal are no stranger to creating chances and burying them in the net. This is a big ceiling potential with a more than manageable salary. Through his first two appearances this season, he has 1 goal, 6 shots, 2 created chances, 1 cross and 1 tackle.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Martinelli (DK $9.2K || FD $19), Rashford (DK $8.3K || FD $20)
EPL DFS Midfielders
Bruno Fernandes - DK $9.5K || FD $22
Opponent - Nottingham Forest
Alongside Nketiah, Fernandes could easily be labeled as an instant ‘lock’ on the slate. The Red Devils’ catalyst is in prime position to have a massive performance this weekend against a lackluster Nottingham Forest defense. Last season, the visitors were the fifth-worst club or worse in all meaningful stats against, most notably having the fourth-worst Penalty Area Defense in the league – 4.6 –. This ultimately sets up Manchester United to finally break the camels back and have their first explosive match to start the season. In two appearances this season, Fernandes has 7 shots, 7 created chances, 12 crosses, 4 corners, 7 tackles and 2 interceptions. Keep in mind that Luke Shaw is also out with an injury, leaving even more opportunity for Fernandes.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Eze (DK $9K || FD $18), Neto (DK $5.7K || FD $16)
EPL DFS Defenders
Nelson Semedo - DK $3.6K || FD $11
Opponent - Everton
There is little to no value on the slate at defense this weekend, leaving many players as potential candidates to round out your ‘CASH’ game lineups. However, Semedo is a fine option, despite playing at Goodison Park. Throughout his first two appearances this season, he has 1 shot, 1 created chance, 3 crosses, 8 tackles, 3 interceptions and 4 clearances – against Manchester United and Brighton –. He has been racking up peripherals to begin the season and he will certainly be of value on FanDuel with their defense-friendly matrix.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Dalot (DK $5.3K || FD $14), Young (DK $4.4K || FD $9)
Corner Takers
- Arsenal: Saka/Odegaard/Martinelli
- Fulham FC: Pereira
- Brentford: Mbeumo/Jensen
- Crystal Palace: Eze
- Everton: Garner/Young
- Wolverhampton: Neto
- Manchester United: Fernandes
- Nottingham Forest: Gibbs-White
