1 year agoDallas Mavericks center JaVale McGee will reportedly be looking for a new team after August 31. According to Marc Stein, the team is expected to waive-and-stretch the veteran big man by the deadline on August 31 barring any unforeseen trade that would require McGee's contract. The 35-year-old played in just 42 games for the Mavericks last year and averaged 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest across 8.5 minutes per game. After being a key reserve for a few championship teams, he became a non-factor once he went to Dallas.
