1 year agoWinnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey has fully healed from a lower-body injury suffered during the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs and is ready to start a new campaign. "Been taking my time with it, really trying to do it right, using all the different modalities and things you can do," Morrissey told NHL.com about his injury. "I'm 100 percent ready to go. No lingering issues at all." Morrissey had a huge breakout campaign in 2022-23 with 76 points (16 goals, 60 assists) in 78 games, more than doubling his previous career-high in scoring. It will be hard to replicate it during the upcoming campaign, but he will no doubt play a major role for the Jets again.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
