Keaton Mitchell Suffers Shoulder Injury In Loss to Commanders
1 year agoBaltimore Ravens rookie RB Keaton Mitchell (shoulder) left Monday night's preseason game against the Commanders in the third quarter with a shoulder stinger. According to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, Mitchell's shoulder injury he suffered on Monday night isn't serious. After a 31-yard sprint down the right sideline, showcasing the rookie's speed and explosiveness, he took a hard hit from a defender. He received medical attention from Raven's trainers before being escorted to the locker room. That run was his only carry of the game. Mitchell is competing for a spot on the RB depth chart and will be looking to be active for this Saturday's preseason game in Tampa Bay. His availability for the game will need to be monitored throughout the week.
