Ty Johnson Expected To Sign With Bills
1 year agoFormer New York Jets running back Ty Johnson has recovered from a torn pectoral muscle and is expected to sign with the Buffalo Bills. Johnson spent the last three seasons with New York, compiling 140 carries for 652 rushing yards, 62 receptions, 559 receiving yards, and seven total offensive touchdowns. He was released by the organization with an injury designation in late April and is now set to join the AFC East foe. Johnson is most likely a depth and special teams signing, so there's likely no reason to worry about the outlooks of James Cook, Damien Harris, and Latavius Murray based on his arrival. He might not even make the final 53-man roster.
