The reign of Aljamain Sterling in the bantamweight division has come to an end after a second-round TKO defeat to Sean O'Malley on Saturday. Sterling had won nine straight fights, including three title defenses, heading into the main event this weekend. The new champion made Sterling miss before catching him with a lightning-fast counter that made "The Funk Master" fall face-first to the Octagon floor. O'Malley landed a barrage of ground-and-pound until referee Marc Goddard had to step in and stop the fight. In 5:51 of action, Sterling landed 19 significant strikes. With this loss, Sterling's UFC record is now at 15-4.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
