Andrew Vaughn Records Three Hits Against Rockies
1 year agoChicago White Sox designated hitter Andrew Vaughn went 3-for-5 hitting a solo home run as the White Sox were victorious against the Rockies in Denver on Sunday. Vaughn made his mark early in the game, initiating the scoring with a 404-foot solo home run off Chris Flexen in the second frame. Later in the contest, he singled and crossed the plate during White Sox's seven-run surge in the eighth inning. The 25-year-old power hitter is now batting .253/.317/.430. During this year's campaign, he's cracked 16 home runs and logged 63 RBI in 430 at-bats.
