Jordan Love Solid Again In Preseason Week 2
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 5-of-8 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown, adding two carries for 11 yards, during the team's 21-17 preseason loss to the New England Patriots. It was another solid outing for the 24-year-old. Love looked confident under pressure and found rookie Jayden Reed up the seam for a 19-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter. The former first-round draft pick even showed off his ability as a ball carrier and had a nice scramble for a first down on a broken pass play. After two solid preseason outings, the new Packers starting quarterback will look to parlay this success into a victory during the team's first regular season game against the Chicago Bears in a few weeks. Green Bay has not announced if we will see Love in the final preseason game against Seattle yet, but if he does play, it will likely be only for a few series.
