Rhamondre Stevenson Finds The End Zone In Win Over Packers
1 year agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson rushed four times for 27 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 21-17 preseason win over the Green Bay Packers. The 25-year-old had a strong preseason debut, busting out a 23-yard gain and punching it in from the one-yard line in Saturday's preseason victory. New England signed free agent running back Ezekiel Elliott earlier in the week, slightly hurting Stevenson's fantasy value. However, the former fourth-round pick should lead New England's backfield in touches after racking up 69 catches, 1,461 total yards, and five touchdowns over 17 games in 2022. Stevenson is expected to handle passing-down situations, while Zeke is projected to be on the field during short-yardage situations and be the team's goal line back. Despite the addition of Elliott, Stevenson remains a borderline RB1 but carries more value in PPR formats.
