Ronnie Rivers Leads Rams In Rushing In Preseason Loss
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers started in Saturday's 34-17 preseason loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He was efficient once again. Rivers carried the ball nine times for 42 yards, coming off a game where he had six carries for 31 yards in the team's preseason opener. The 24-year-old has played ahead of both Royce Freeman and Zach Evans throughout those two games. However, Cam Akers and Kyren Williams are comfortably ahead of them, considering they have been inactive for both preseason games. At the very least, the second-year running back will look to continue this level of play and enter the season as the team's RB3.
