Kyle Manzardo Begins Rehab Assignment
1 year agoCleveland Guardians first base prospect Kyle Manzardo (shoulder) began a rehab assignment with the Arizona Complex League on Friday. He went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's game. The 23-year-old has been sidelined since July 6 due to a sore left shoulder. Cleveland acquired Manzardo from the Tampa Bay Rays for right-hander Aaron Civale. He slashed .238/.342/.443 with 11 home runs, 38 RBI, 33 runs, and a stolen base over 73 games with Triple-A Durham. Manzardo could debut for Cleveland later this year and is worth stashing on your roster in most fantasy leagues.
