Masataka Yoshida Homers, Drives In Four Friday
1 year agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Masataka Yoshida had a big night in an 8-3 win over the New York Yankees on Friday. Yoshida went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI in the win. The 30-year-old's three-run homer in the first inning had an exit velocity of 102.4 MPH and traveled 376 feet. Yoshida is now slashing .302/.358/.473 with 13 homers, 59 runs, 60 RBI, and eight steals across 414 at-bats in his first season with the Red Sox. That homer was his first in over two weeks as he looks to finish the last portion of the season on a hot streak.
