Corbin Carroll Getting A Breather Wednesday
Corbin Carroll is taking a day off on Wednesday with the team facing the Colorado Rockies. It's just a day off for Carroll, who has fallen on hard times at the plate. The 22-year-old has really struggled in the second half of the season to this point, going 22-for-105 (.210) with three home runs, three doubles, three triples, 11 RBI, 29 strikeouts, 10 stolen bases and 20 runs scored in 29 games (28 starts) since the All-Star break. He's been even worse in August, going 8-for-47 (.170) with no homers, one RBI, three steals and six runs scored in 13 starts. Alek Thomas is making a start in center field and is batting eighth on Wednesday against Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber. Despite his late-season slump, Carroll has been an excellent fantasy contributor across all categories in 2023 with 21 homers, 59 RBI and 36 stolen bases.

Corbin Carroll Hits 10th Homer On Monday
Corbin Carroll turned in an excellent game in a 5-4 loss to the New York Mets on Monday. Carroll went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk, two runs, and an RBI, but it wasn't quite enough in the close loss to New York. The star outfielder kicked off the scoring in the game with a solo homer in the bottom of the first inning. Carroll is now hitting .287 with 10 homers, 28 runs, 27 RBI, and five stolen bases across 150 at-bats this season. While he isn't stealing bases at the rate he did in the 2023 and 2024 seasons when he combined to swipe 89 bags, Carroll remains one of the top fantasy outfielders in all leagues.

Corbin Carroll Keeps Raking With Two More Homers
Corbin Carroll continues to rake as he launched two more homers in a 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday. Carroll went 2-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI, and a walk in Wednesday's victory. He launched his first home run of the night in the bottom of the first and belted another shot in the seventh frame to give Arizona the lead. This game brings the 24-year-old superstar to a .327 AVG and .1.097 OPS with 23 runs, nine homers, 22 RBI, and four steals on the season. He has been absolutely electric in the early going and is looking like a candidate for NL MVP. This year, taking a slight risk on him in the late-first or early-second rounds of drafts looks like a massive hit for fantasy managers.

Corbin Carroll Stays Hot Versus Cubs
Corbin Carroll has been on another level at the plate over the last few weeks. On Saturday, Carroll started off the game with a home run off right-hander Ben Brown in the opening frame. It would kick off what would be a 3-for-4 day at the plate for Carroll. He extended his hitting streak to 12 games with that three-hit performance. Carroll has put his sluggish 2024 season behind him and is looking like an MVP-type player right now. Carroll obviously needs to be rostered and started in all fantasy formats as he has been one of the best players in the league.

Corbin Carroll Extends Hitting Streak, Steals Three Bases
Corbin Carroll has been one of the hottest hitters early in the 2025 season. He went 1-for-5 in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Miami Marlins to extend his hitting streak to 10 games and also added an RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases despite striking out three times. The 24-year-old stole both second and third base in the first inning. The former first-rounder is now hitting .321 with a 1.065 OPS, six home runs, 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and four stolen bases in his first 19 games in 2025. During his 10-game hitting streak, Carroll has gone 17-for-44 (.386) with 11 RBI, 12 runs scored and nine extra-base hits. Carroll was the National League Rookie of the Year in 2023 before struggling to a .231 batting average last year, although he still hit 22 homers and stole 35 bases. If he keeps this up all year, he could easily be the fantasy MVP.
