Colts Focused On Getting Jonathan Taylor Healthy
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) has been in the headlines in recent weeks after a public trade request and dispute with team owner Jim Irsay. He is still with the team and around the facility, but he has yet to be activated from the Physically Unable To Perform (PUP) list. His situation is murky heading into 2023, but general manager Chris Ballard said the focus is getting him healthy. "He's finishing his rehab process. Hopefully, as we move forward here, we'll get him back," Ballard said "But we need to get him 100% healthy before we do anything." When Taylor is fully healthy, it will be interesting to see if he puts more pressure on the team to trade him. This is obviously a situation worth monitoring since Taylor is expected to be a fantasy RB1 after a down 2022 campaign.
