Luis Robert Jr. Still Out Against Brewers
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (finger) is still unable to play on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Oscar Colas is starting in center field and hitting seventh, while Gavin Sheets starts in right field and hits sixth in the lineup on Sunday against Brewers right-hander Freddy Peralta. Robert sprained his right pinkie finger in Wednesday's contest against the New York Yankees and hasn't played since. The 26-year-old remains day-to-day, and hopefully he'll be back after an off day on Monday for the start of a series on Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs. Robert is in the midst of a breakout campaign in 2023, slashing .271/.325/.563 with an .889 OPS, a career-high 31 long balls, 30 doubles, a triple, 65 RBI, 16 stolen bases and 74 runs scored in 113 games.
