1 year agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard carried the ball eight times for 34 yards and added a three-yard reception in a 27-0 loss to the New York Jets in preseason action on Saturday. With starter Miles Sanders sitting out thanks to a minor groin injury, Hubbard got the start and played with the first team. A solid pass-catcher with some quality NFL games under his belt, Hubbard will not overtake the highly-paid Sanders as the team's RB1 but he does have handcuff value in case something happens to the latter during the season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
