Ronnie Rivers Gets The Start In Preseason Opener
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers started for the team and had a very solid performance. The undrafted second-year player out of Fresno St. put up 31 rushing yards on just six carries and had an impressive goal line touchdown taken back due to a hold. While the team did sit out their starters, including running backs Cam Akers and Kyren Williams, Rivers still played over Zach Evans and Royce Freeman, which is a positive sign. Rivers will look to continue playing well over the next couple of weeks and try to secure a roster spot ahead of the regular season.
