Matt Olson Smacks Two Home Runs In Braves Lopsided Victory
1 year agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson in the first game of a doubleheader, was 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI as the Braves crushed the Mets 21-3 Saturday. Olson smashed his first homer in the sixth frame off of New York reliever Reed Garrett. His second shot came in the eighth inning against left-handed hurler Josh Walker. The 29-year-old has had a phenomenal season and now has seven multi-homer outings. With 436 trips to the plate, Olson leads the majors with 105 runs batted in.
