Jeff Driskel Dealing With Injury
1 year agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Jeff Driskel (calf) did not suit up for Friday's preseason opener versus the Denver Broncos. The 30-year-old was held out of the contest due to a strained calf. Driskel signed with the Cardinals over the offseason, which makes them his fifth team in six years. Normally, his status wouldn't be notable, but he is in the running for the starting gig with Kyler Murray (knee) still sidelined. Driskel is competing with Colt McCoy, David Blough, and Clayton Tune for the starting quarterback spot while Murray is out. However, it's tough to imagine any of them having fantasy value while Murray is gone.
