Chase Claypool Sitting Out Preseason Opener
1 year agoChicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool (hamstring) is not playing in the team's first preseason game against Tennessee. The ex-Steeler tweaked his hamstring during Wednesday's practice and has been held out since. The wideout started training camp on the PUP (Physically Unable To Perform) list but returned quickly and is impressing in red zone work. Claypool's next chance to suit up for game action will come against Indianapolis next Saturday. He's listed as a starter on the Bears' depth chart, alongside DJ Moore and Darnell Mooney.
