Antonio Gibson Utilized In Passing Game Against Cleveland
1 year agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson rushed two times for seven yards while hauling in two-of-three targets for 13 yards in Friday's win over the Cleveland Browns. There have been rumors of Gibson seeing more work as a receiver in the offseason and we got to view it in action during Washington's first preseason matchup. The fourth-year pro had solid production as a pass catcher in addition to his rushing, and appears to be favored as the third-down back with J.D. McKissic out of the picture. With a new offense on display, Gibson could finally see the usage many have been clamoring for since his rookie year.
