Deshaun Watson Plays One Series In Preseason Debut
1 year agoCleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson started and played in the first offensive series in a 17-15 loss to the Washington Commanders in his team's second preseason game on Friday. Watson completed all three of his passes for 12 yards while adding 20 yards on three carries in the contest. In his lone series, Watson led Cleveland all the way down to the Washington one-yard line but they were unable to score, with running back John Kelly Jr. getting stuffed on a rushing attempt on fourth-and-goal. Watson is locked in as Cleveland's starting quarterback and this may be all we see of him on the field in preseason action.
