1 year agoToronto Blue Jays left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu (knee) is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday against the Chicago Cubs. Ryu won't be forced to skip a start after leaving his last outing early on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians when he was hit on the right knee by a comebacker. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative, and the 36-year-old southpaw is feeling good enough to take his next turn in the starting rotation. Ryu has only made two starts for Toronto this year after making a return from Tommy John surgery. In his two starts, he's allowed four earned runs on nine hits while walking two and striking out five in nine innings. He'll continue to be an option for fantasy managers in deep-mixed leagues the rest of the season, but he has a tricky matchup on Sunday against Chicago.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
