Justin Turner Absent From BoSox's Lineup
1 year agoAs expected, Boston Red Sox infielder/designated hitter Justin Turner (heel) will miss another game on Wednesday against the visiting Kansas City Royals, and he'll likely be out on Thursday for the series finale in KC, too. Trevor Story is serving as the DH on Wednesday and is hitting third again, while Pablo Reyes will play the 6 and bat ninth against Royals right-hander Jordan Lyles. Turner is still battling through a bruised left heel that caused him to miss a handful of games last week as well. The 38-year-old isn't expected to go on the injured list, though, so hopefully fantasy managers will get him back this weekend against the Detroit Tigers. Despite almost being 40 years old, Turner has been a must-start in fantasy leagues in 2023 due to his run production.
