Ravens, Broderick Washington Agree To Three-Year Deal
1 year agoThe Baltimore Ravens and defensive tackle Broderick Washington agreed to a new three-year, $17.5 million contract on Wednesday that includes $6.3 million combined in signing and option bonuses with $10 million total guaranteed, according to his agent, Evan Krakower. The former fifth-rounder out of Texas Tech in 2020 had by far his best season in 2022 in his third NFL campaign, recording 49 tackles (25 solo), one sack, four QB hits and six passes defensed in 17 games (nine starts) for Baltimore's defense last year. The 26-year-old was entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2023 and was set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2024, so the Ravens will keep him around longer as an asset in the middle of their defensive line.
