Mookie Betts Hits Grand Slam Monday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers second baseman Mookie Betts went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in a 13-7 win over the San Diego Padres on Monday. Betts' sixth-career grand slam came as part of an eight-run fourth inning that knocked San Diego starter Seth Lugo out of the ballgame. The big game gives Betts a .284/.384/.582 slash line, to go along with 31 homers, 92 runs, 75 RBI, and eight steals across 416 at-bats. He has been swinging a hot bat of late, with four homers and seven RBI over his past seven contests.
