Jets Waive Chris Streveler
1 year agoThe New York Jets waived quarterback Chris Streveler (thumb) on Monday after he suffered a right-thumb injury during training camp. There's a chance that Streveler will revert to the Jets roster if he isn't claimed by another team off waivers. If he remains with the Jets, Streveler will be buried on the QB depth chart behind Aaron Rodgers, Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle. The 28-year-old has played in nine games (one start) in his three seasons in the NFL and has gone 27-for-40 for 231 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He made his only start of his career to this point for the Jets last season.
