Chase Silseth Strikes Out 12 Batters
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Chase Silseth looked nearly unhittable during Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners. The right-hander gave up a leadoff home run to J.P. Crawford in the first inning. After that, Silseth only made one more mistake to Teoscar Hernandez in the seventh inning. The right-hander finished with a career-high 12 strikeouts over seven innings of work on Sunday. He was handed a no-decision in what ended up being a loss for the Angels. He'll carry a 3.72 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 41/16 K/BB ratio into his next outing versus the Houston Astros.
