Denny Hamlin Seems To Always Contend At Michigan

Denny Hamlin has not finished worse than sixth in his past five races at the Michigan International Speedway. Hamlin really has almost won several times recently on the two-mile course. The two times he finished second was when the Joe Gibbs Racing driver started 14th and 15th. On Sunday, the No. 11 car begins the afternoon race from the 13th position. With last year's bitter defeat fresh in my mind, Hamlin will want to win this one. He led 38 laps was in front late before slipping back to third.
