PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Max has struck out at least seven batters in 10 of his previous 12 starts and is going to be absolutely amped up to make a solid debut for the Rangers today. The matchup is pretty solid for this as well against the White Sox. Over the previous three weeks, Chicago is posting a 24.2% K rate vs. right-handers, which is good for 12th-worst in the league. They are also posting a subpar walk rate of 6.3% and a wRC+ mark of just 73, so he should be in good shape here in front of the home crowd.
Kevin Gausman more than 7.0 strikeouts
We have another heavy hitter up next in Gausman as he has matched or eclipsed this number in five straight starts. He will be up against a tough offense in the Orioles, however, they are posting the 10th-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate near 25%. Gausman will also be at home today where he has been lights out as noted by his 2.48 ERA and 12.9 K/9 mark.
Cristian Javier more than 5.5 strikeouts
I have been on Javier unders recently, but last week a little birdie (Dan Palyo) told me he has found his slider and should be in good shape moving forward. Tonight, he will be up against the Yankees, who are posting the ninth-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of 25%. Javier has also looked solid in his last three starts as he has racked up 21 strikeouts over 16 1/3 innings pitched.
Bryan Woo more than 6.0 strikeouts
Woo has eclipsed this number in five of his 10 starts thus far in 2023. He will be up against the free-swinging Angels, who have posted the fourth-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of 27.6%. This is certainly a spot where he can make it 6/11 in terms of reaching this prop total.
Other Recommendations: Sonny Gray less than 5.0 strikeouts
