1 year agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu did not have the best season debut in Tuesday's 13-3 loss to the Orioles. The 36-year-old, who returned from Tommy John surgery, allowed four runs on nine hits (including a home run) and a walk with three strikeouts over five innings pitched, taking the loss. This was certainly not an encouraging start, but Ryu did have a successful rehab assignment and has been a reliable fantasy starter throughout his career. His next start is slated to be a much more favorable matchup at the Guardians. Despite this, fantasy managers may want to sit Ryu until he shows that he can get things on the right track.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
