Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss was the 86th overall pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2020 NFL Draft. The veteran had a solid college career, totaling 712 rushing attempts for 4,067 yards and 38 yards in four seasons at Utah. Moss also had 66 receptions for 685 receiving yards and three touchdowns in college.
The former Utah star had a solid rookie year. Moss had 112 rushing attempts for 481 yards and four touchdowns that year, finishing second on the Bills in all three categories. He also had 14 receptions on 18 targets for 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately, Moss saw his production decline the following season. He had 96 rushing attempts for 345 yards and four touchdowns that year. The former Utah star also caught 23 of his 32 targets for 197 receiving yards and a touchdown that season.

What Did Zack Moss Accomplish In 2022?
Last season the veteran running back split time between the Bills and Colts. When the team drafted James Cook, Moss saw his playing time disappear. The former Utah star had only 17 rushing attempts for 91 yards in five games with the Bills. Moss also only had seven receptions on eight targets for 27 receiving yards last season in Buffalo.
However, the veteran running back had some productive games after getting traded to the Colts. The former third-round pick totaled 76 rushing attempts for 365 yards and a touchdown in eight games with Indianapolis. Furthermore, Moss caught four of his five targets for 12 yards with the Colts.
Is Zack Moss Injured Or Healthy?
The former Utah star was Indianapolis’ No. 1 running back, with Jonathan Taylor on the Physical Unable to Perform list. If the superstar missed the start of the regular season or got traded, Moss was the favorite to be the Week 1 starter.
Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. The veteran running back suffered a broken arm during yesterday’s practice. Thankfully the injury won’t end the former Utah star’s season. However, it will keep Moss off the field for about six weeks.
With Moss and Taylor not practicing, the Colts have four healthy running backs on the roster – Evan Hull, Deon Jackson, Jake Funk, and the newly signed Toriano Clinton Jr.
If Taylor isn’t on the active roster come Week 1, Hull is the running back fantasy players want to target. He had an excellent college career and is capable three-down back.
