1 year agoCleveland Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill (shoulder) has been cleared to face hitters this week, and if everything goes well, he should begin a rehab assignment soon after. The 28-year-old landed on the injured list in early July with right-shoulder inflammation after missing almost all of June with a shoulder issue. Quantrill has been a disappointment this season across 13 starts, posting a 6.45 ERA and 1.57 WHIP with 38 strikeouts over 67 innings. Fantasy managers can drop the five-year veteran in all leagues with that kind of production.--Spencer Seguin
