Tucupita Marcano Likely To Undergo Surgery
1 year agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Tucupita Marcano (knee) was forced to exit early during Monday's game due to a right knee injury. He underwent further testing and the outcome is not favorable for the 23-year-old infielder. Marcano has suffered a significant right knee injury that is likely going to result in surgery. It sounds like there is a good chance that Marcano is done for the season. Right now, he's slashing .233/.276/.356 with three home runs and 18 RBI with five steals in 53 games. Fantasy managers who are rostering him in redraft formats can start looking for a replacement.
