J.J. Yeley Hoping To Avoid Hamlin’s Bumper At Richmond This Time
1 year agoThe NASCAR Cup Series is at Richmond Raceway this weekend for the Cook Out 400. This is the second race at Richmond this year, with Kyle Larson going to victory lane here back in April. Also in that race, there was some drama, as J.J. Yeley went spinning off of the bumper of Denny Hamlin. Yeley ended up finishing 36th in that race, which is his worst finish of the season thus far. Similar to the situation at Pocono last weekend between Hamlin and Kyle Larson, Hamlin projected blame onto the other driver. As far as this weekend goes, though, J.J. Yeley is a viable low-tier option in fantasy. He has finished 29th or better in each of his last eight Cup Series starts, which is very good for the Rick Ware Racing cars. Yeley qualified in 35th-place for Sunday's Richmond race.
