1 year agoNew England Patriots running back Ty Montgomery (undisclosed) had four catches in the team's first training camp practice this week, but he suffered an undisclosed lower-body injury during practice on Thursday and left early. The 30-year-old veteran's injury should be monitored closely, and we'll pass along any new information once it comes out. He played in just one game with the Patriots in 2022 due to a shoulder injury, but he figures to have a bigger role in the passing attack this year if he's healthy. Once he's able to get back onto the field, hopefully sooner than later, Montgomery will be competing with Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris for a complementary role behind early-down back Rhamondre Stevenson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
