Nicolai Hojgaard Brings Tremendous Form Back To The States
1 year agoNicolai Hojgaard had quite the trip back to his home continent, placing sixth in the Scottish Open and 23rd in The Open as a result of his 12.9 strokes gained combined in those eight rounds. The 22-year-old placed very well in Scotland in spite of his rough putting performance, but the flat stick came around in England to compliment his stellar ball-striking nicely. The Denmark native found something in his game at the Corales Puntacana at the end of March en route to a second-place finish, and he's been rolling since then, making eight of nine cuts from April to July. The approach game seems to be where Hojgaard makes his money, but he'll need his driver and putter to be working too if he wants to log his fourth straight top-23 finish in Minnesota. Despite the inflated price tag of $7,900 on DraftKings, it's tough to fault anyone who wants to use Hojgaard as a mid-priced option in their DFS lineups at the 3M Open this week.
