D'Andre Swift Used All Over The Field On First Day Of Camp
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift was reportedly deployed all over the offense during the team's first day of camp. He lined up out wide, motioned into the slot, and saw work in the backfield -- primarily as a receiver. Rashaad Penny was given the first carry of practice, but it looks like Swift will be the primary receiving back in 2023. This comes as no surprise given Swift's previous usage in Detroit. The former second-round pick totaled 1,198 receiving yards and seven scored on 156 receptions during his three-year stint with the Lions. While the Eagles will implement a running back-by-committee approach, Swift has plenty of upside in PPR leagues as an explosive receiver.
