Bengals Re-Sign Mitchell Wilcox, Place Him On PUP List
1 year agoBengals tight end Mitchell Wilcox (undisclosed) was without a team for most of this offseason, but the team re-signed him on Monday to an undisclosed deal and immediately placed him on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Wilcox caught 20 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown over the last two seasons after joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The 26-year-old will be firmly behind Irv Smith Jr. on the depth chart, but he could battle Drew Sample for playing time in two-tight end sets. Either way, he won't have any fantasy value unless he's promoted to the TE1 job via injury to Smith.
