The NASCAR Cup Series ran the HighPoint.com 400 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday afternoon, and it was Denny Hamlin who got his seventh career win at the track after some late-race controversy.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, though, Hamlin wasn't the fastest. That honor went to William Byron, who led a race-high 60 laps during the race. Second-fastest was Martin Truex, Jr., with race-winner Denny Hamlin coming in 3rd-fastest.
Ryan Blaney had a strong and potentially race-winning car during the first half of the race, but engine issues relegated him to a 30th-place finish. He wound up 24th-fastest in Green Flag Speed.
