Trevor Story Beginning Rehab Assignment On Monday
1 year agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Trevor Story (elbow) had his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester moved to Monday. The 30-year-old went 2-for-8 with a homer and a 5/2 K/BB ratio in three games at Double-A Portland. The expectation is that he'll play close to 20 games in the minors to prepare himself for the big leagues. The two-time Silver Slugger has been sidelined all season after undergoing elbow surgery. It sounds like he should be available at some point in August. Fantasy managers should make sure he's not sitting around on the waiver wire.
