Harrison Bader Returns To Sunday's Lineup
1 year agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (ribs) is back in the starting lineup on Sunday, starting in center field and batting sixth against the visiting Kansas City Royals and right-hander Jordan Lyles. Bader will be making his first start for the Yankees since suffering bruised ribs on Wednesday, and he also served as a pinch-hitter in Saturday's game. The 29-year-old should be rostered in most fantasy leagues for his power/speed abilities as New York's starting center fielder, but he's been a bit of a disappointment in his first full season in the Bronx in 2023. Injuries have held him to just 50 games played, and he's batting .247 (34-for-174) with seven homers, 31 RBI, nine stolen bases and 23 runs scored in 186 plate appearances.
