1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder and top prospect Sal Frelick is being promoted, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. A corresponding move is not yet known but this is an exciting time for the Brewers and fantasy managers that have stashed Frelick this season. He's a consensus top-35 prospect and should make an immediate impact with his contact skills and speed. Frelick underwent thumb surgery back in April, which sidelined him for a few months and has likely put a damper on his counting stats. The 23-year-old is slashing .252/.344/.353 with two home runs, 19 RBI, and eight stolen bases in 195 plate appearances across two minor league levels this year.
