The NASCAR Cup Series held the qualifying session for Sunday's HighPoint.com 400 at Pocono Raceway on Saturday afternoon. This qualifying session consisted of two rounds and the drivers were split into two groups. The top five fastest drivers from each group advanced to the second round. Chase Elliott and Todd Gilliland spun during their attempts and weren't able to post a time. They will start from the final two spots in Sunday's race.
The five fastest drivers that advanced out of the first group were: Bubba Wallace, Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Austin Cindric, and Joey Logano.
The five fastest drivers that ended up advancing out of the second group. were: Tyler Reddick, Kevin Harvick, William Byron, Martin Truex, Jr., and Kyle Larson.
