Henry Davis Launches Two Home Runs Friday
1 year agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Henry Davis went 3-for-4 with two homers despite losing to the Angels 8-5 Friday. In the second inning, Davis kick-started the action with a single. During the fourth frame, he teamed up with Ji Man Choi to deliver back-to-back solo home runs, with Davis connecting off Shohei Ohtani. Not content with just one dinger, he once again went deep in the sixth inning for the second time in the game off Ohtani. The 23-year-old Pirates prospect is slashing .295/.391/.463 with four homers, 11 RBI, and three steals in 110 at-bats.
