When Will Rowdy Tellez Return From The Injured List? Fantasy Baseball Injury Update

Rowdy Tellez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, First Base Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

When Will Rowdy Tellez Return From The Injured List? A look at the Fantasy Baseball Injury Update of the Milwaukee Brewers' first baseman.

The Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Rowdy Tellez was supposed to be activated from the injured list this week, but he sustained another injury. A few days ago, Tellez fractured his left ring finger and had stitches, which will force him to miss more games.

The 28-year-old first baseman was catching fly balls at the time the injury occurred and was overall a very unfortunate circumstance. In this article, we will discuss the timeline for his return and how it will impact the Brewers.

How much longer will Rowdy Tellez remain sidelined? What is the fantasy impact? Let's take a look!

Rowdy Tellez Return Timeline:

Rowdy Tellez is currently placed on the 10-day injury list and is expected to return to the Brewers lineup around August 7. It can be said that the injury provided a much-needed break for Tellez, who had been struggling quite a lot.

In his last seven games, he was batting .150, while recording three hits and no home runs and had an on-base percentage of just .182. The season as a whole has not gone well for Tellez as for the season he is batting. 213 with 55 hits, 12 HRs, 36 RBI with .285 OBP and .672 OPS in 79 games.

Brewers Are Expected To Win NL Central Divison

Owen Miller, who is playing first base in Tellez's absence, is playing quite well. Due to this, the team has not missed the former Toronto Blue Jays player and is in an excellent position to win the division. The Brewers are presently in first place with a 54-43 record, 2.5 games ahead of the Cincinnati Reds.

Miller and William Contreras have provided excellent support for Christian Yelich, who has led the team by example. For the season, Yelich is batting .287 with 101 hits, 14 HRs, and 54 RBI, while having .376 OBP and .856 OPS in 93 games. When Rowdy Tellez returns from injury, the Brewers will hope that he will be able to provide a meaningful contribution to the team as well.
