Starling Marte Absent Again Against White Sox
1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (head) will miss another contest on Wednesday against the visiting Chicago White Sox. Marte will miss his second straight game after being scratched from Tuesday's lineup with a migraine headache. He obviously still isn't feeling all that well and will take another day off. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Thursday to see if Marte is back in the lineup for the series finale against the White Sox. Jeff McNeil is getting the nod in right field and is hitting fifth in the lineup against White Sox right-hander Touki Toussaint. Marte is a must-start in fantasy when he's healthy, mostly for his speed on the basepaths. The 34-year-old veteran Dominican is currently hitting .254/.308/.332 with five home runs, seven doubles, a triple, 28 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 38 runs scored in 84 games.
