Edmundo Sosa Remains Out Tuesday
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies infielder Edmundo Sosa (leg) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Sosa suffered a leg cramp in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday against the San Diego Padres and didn't start on Sunday, although he came off the bench. Alec Bohm will start at third base and bat seventh on Tuesday against Brewers veteran right-hander Julio Teheran. In his first full season in Philadelphia, the 27-year-old Sosa is hitting a mediocre .249/.271/.405 with a career-high-tying six home runs, nine doubles, a triple, 20 RBI and 22 runs scored in 194 plate appearances and 66 games as a utility infielder.
